This is my Saturday poem that pretty much explains my day:
Spending time with family
Anxious to relax
Tedious housework to be done
Using my time wisely
Reading some books for pleasure
Debating where to go for fun
Annoyed we must move the clocks ahead and lose an hour of sleep
Yes! Let the weekend last forever!
That summarizes my weekend, too. It doesn’t seem fair that we have to lose an hour of the weekend… and, not being a “morning person,” to chop an hour off of our morning daylight seems downright cruel… and not just to sleepyheads, but to the kids who must walk or drive to school in the dark again, just when we were finding our way out of it. Oh, well, maybe it will help me to stay awake longer at night–wait–that’s not a problem. š
I totally forgot about the clocks!
I remember treasuring every moment of a Saturday. Now that I’m old and retired, it’s even better! I try to stay out of your way in the stores and the Post Office!!
It will be hard waking up on time on Monday, but I know we will love the evening light.
Saturdays. The mish mash schedule, where we try to fit in every thing from the week that could not be done. Enjoy the family time and find something fun to do!
Sounds like a great Saturday! Well, I guess, aside from the clocks! š
“Let the weekend last forever!” Ugh – that is the kind of thing I could yell from my rooftop.
Agree . . . too much to do and the need to plan more fun things to do on Saturdays!
